All Smirkets Day

In the Nomemclature of Cats, as it originated in the late 1950s, a black cat was/is known as a Smirket. Friday the 13ths are, of course, known as All Smirkets Day.

So now you know.

Bonsai is Michelle's Tort-at Risk. A friend found Bonsai under a dumpster and though in her youth she was quite intrepid, as she aged she became increasingly a one-person-cat.

Here, she dares the viewer to deny her immeasurable cuteness.
