Scottie Pants

Decades ago Michelle did scottie dog related ceramics.

A fan of their indignant personalities, a public encounter would elicit smiles of enjoyment. This exchange typifies her and a friend's humor.

The first entry, hard to read, is an excerpt from a novel Michelle's reading. It's the mention of Scottie dog pants that triggered the rest.

The last image is a gif that has the Smirket (black cats are called Smirkets) throwing a right jab.

Kit Kat

Semi-feral, he travels the neighborhood. The place where he eats at least one dinner pays Michelle to come by each evening - when they're away - to put out fresh kibble and water.

He's often there to greet her most congenially, but always from a safe distance. 

If Pink Floyd Were Cats

 

Roger aka The Rodge

The Rodge, as he's known to his intimates, has been one of Michelle's longer-term charges. At 18, he's taking on the frazzled look of the aged and frail.

Still, he carries on with appreciative purrs as Michelle feeds and grooms him, maintaining an aristocratic demeanor while exuding an elegant beneficence.

Frida

Tomás has gone on to the great catnip gardens in the sky but his legacy lives on in the artful modification to the legs of their chair. 

Frida doesn't mind having it to herself.
